We have three main types of Volunteers:
Community Outreach
The Community Social Planning Council is offered display table space at many events throughout the year. We need occasional help to staff these tables and to mingle and be ambassadors for our organization to encourage visits to our table. This job is suited to an outgoing and enthusiastic volunteer who is also knowledgeable about our work and initiatives.
Committees and Board
Our board of directors, steering working groups and committees are all volunteer-based. These positions can be as demanding as they are rewarding. Please contact us to let us know what area of our work interests you or what particular expertise you are willing to offer and we will work to find a good match for you.
Office Support
Like most, if not all, non-profits and charities we can always use a hand with the day-to-day clerical activities of running the office. Data entry and online searches are two that come up regularly.
