Membership Counts!

Your membership and donations ensure that we are able to continue to provide the services, supports and leadership we’ve brought to our community for over 75 years and to be bold in social innovation.

The Council's voice is made stronger by the support and feedback of our members.  The more our collective voice reflects the diversity of our region, the more we can ensure that all voices are heard.

Your annual membership and donation dollars help ensure that our organization is able to provide services (such as the BC Transit Ticket Assistance Program), resources, (such as the Living Wage calculation) and leadership (such as our work in community economic development) that we have brought to this community for many years.

Your financial contributions support new ways of working together to create a vibrant and sustainable community and to support new initiatives to tackle the many challenges to the quality of life for people in the region.

Key priority areas of work that your membership and donation dollars will support are:

  • Reducing and Preventing Poverty
  • Housing Affordability
  • Community Economic Development
  • Sustainability of the Region (social, economic and environmental)
